2018// In search of the inner balance, „im B A L A N C E [imˈbaləns]“ deals with aspects of Zen Buddhism and the associated flow of time. On this journey, the childlike behaviour is examined and the reference to renowned artists such as Alexander Calder, Erwin Wurm and the artist duo Fischli and Weiss is made. Seen as a comprehensive subject, the balance is considered on a physical level, whereby the right and wrong sense of balance is explored. Besides aiming for a detachement from pre-defined regulations, the creative expression of this work is always regarded with a sense of humour. Finally the collected knowledge is translated into sculptural earrings and an exclusive bag collection.
